President of China to visit Uzbekistan

     On the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, the President of People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping will visit 8-10 September 2013 our country with a state visit.
     During the visit the sides will discuss the current state and prospects of strengthening of Uzbek-Chinese strategic partnership, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, the will also address issues of cooperation within international organizations and exchange views on important regional issues.
     Following the talks, the heads of state are to sign the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation and the Joint Declaration on the further development and deepening of bilateral strategic partnership, as well as a considerable package of documents on cooperation in the economic sphere.
